This only happens when having opened PDF files and is caused by an error in the IFilter library of Adobe, this might also happen in other applications using these libraries. The solution for this problem is to download and install the Adobe IFilter 6.0 at following location: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2611
